    • Implemented shopping cart and order handling features to handle multiple payment options for a single order for an e-commerce website. Developed using C# and extending the AspDotNetStoreFront framework .

    • Development for a web based interactive medical instruction website utilizing video, slideshows and quizzes implemented with JavaScript & Flash.

    • Worked for a leading NYC ad agency providing ASP, JavaScript / JQuery and web server support for various projects involving well known national & international brands.

    • Currently developing a business productivity application for OS-X using Cocoa / Objective-C with iOS4 (iphone) integration.

    Scholastic Inc., Senior Engineer, New York, NY, Dec 2007 – Feb 2010

    • Member of Scholastic Education Technology Group

    • Coordinated with contractors and Scholastic personnel on Database, System Architecture, Software Development and Operational issues.

    • Primary Engineer tasked with designing server architecture and providing technical operations support for Scholastic Hosting Services, a migration of new and existing products to a web hosted environment. Currently provides a variety of education software to over 150 school districts and tens thousands of users around the country.

    • Provided data analysis to software producers for various purposes

    Burnlounge Inc., Software Developer, New York, NY, July 2006 – August 2007

    • Member of the development team for a pioneering new digital music distribution platform (similar to ITunes, Y!Music Jukebox, etc.) geared towards user customization of a web based store-front and online community to promote their favorite artists and receive commissions for sales.

    • Primarily web based development in an ASP.NET / MS SQL Server environment

    • Primary developer of the store customization component (I.C.E.). Features included:

        • Layout changes, Skin Changes, Selection of albums to place in any of 100’s of slots organized by musical genre, creation of customized sellable playlists, options for filtering visible content.

    • Helped develop and integrate components utilizing a unique blend of .NET, XML, Javascript (incl. AJAX) and Flash

    • Designed and implemented a web based concert / event reservation system which interacted with one of the nations largest live entertainment databases.

    • Developed web based tools for providing artist / content provider sales information and internal abilities re-assign and create new content classifications (Genre editing).

    • Provided general support and development for a variety of other company websites and applications.

    Vitech Systems Group Inc, Java Benefits Team, New York, NY, June 2005 – July 2006

    • Member of java development team which developed a highly complex and customizable application for the purpose of managing a wide range of pension and health benefits data for large fund offices. Software developed using a wide range of cutting edge java technologies (Jakarta Tapestry, Spring, Hibernate)

    • Primary tasks included:

        • Page / component development for our primary web application.

        • Build configuration, application deployments and related tools development.

        • Functional and regression test case definition, implementation, execution, and reporting.

    • Designed and implemented a system to ensure “unbreakable” builds by developing hooks for the Subversion source-control system that would detect build errors before they were allowed to be checked into the repository.

    • Created and tracked many application issues (new development / bugs / etc.) through completion as a result of design spec requirements, test results and user feedback.

    • Developed a framework for and implemented automated testing scripts for our web-application utilizing custom and open-source Java code.

    Lehman Brothers, Global Architecture and Engineering group – Internship, Jersey City, NJ, summer 2004

    • Worked with internal portal group to add new features and extensions to CMS system. Development using Java & Web Sphere.

    Bose Corporation, Software Engineering Co-op, Framingham, MA Dec 2002 – June 2003

    • Member of a software team consisting of approximately 20 engineers to develop a high end home entertainment system with variety of innovative, advanced and elegant features. System was implemented in C++ utilizing an embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)

    • Participated in many design review sessions for integral system modules.

    • Tasked with developing extensive support for internal system messaging including automated code generation, unit testing, and related tool development and maintenance.

    • Developed a system level application to manage the repeating of messages with varying time intervals to encapsulate this behavior from other modules.

    • Fully designed and implemented a user interface level application for the tuner (radio) source of the device.

    • Designed and implemented the base user interface module for ALL source level settings menus and extensions for the CD / MP3 sources.
